Behind the Designs

Designing is probably my favorite process of the business. I compare all the different colors and decide which beads i'm going to use for each design. It might be interesting to some that I don't map out what it will look like I just start beading and make decisions as I go.

As far as floss jewelry I get inspiration from the different color threads and the patterns I find to use. There is an app I use called bracelet book that people share their patterns on and I use those to create the unique designs you see. I usually only use a pattern once or twice before I retire it. Making the same thing more than once can get pretty dull so I try to keep things fresh and new by using the design only once or twice.
